Nature's Formula Calming massage oil is formulated using oils highly regarded in Ayurveda. We use oils rich in nutrients, such as Rice bran (Vitamin E) and Carrot seed (Vitamin A) to nourish your skin. Sandalwood (for a natural fragrance), Sesame oil, Almond oil along with Wheat germ oil provide the rich, smooth texture to a massage oil that is sensual, relaxing and nourishing.
Ayurvedic philosophy believes that massage enhances the senses and helps restore the balance of the Doshas (a combination of Vata, Pitta, Kapha—your unique constitution) and thereby relieve the physical and mental conditions resulting from the imbalance.
Massage body at least once a week or as needed.
While this oil is recommended for all Dosha types, it is especially useful for Vata individuals. Here are massage suggestions:
1.Vata: Try a gentler, slow, long strokes, for example Swedish.
2.Pitta: Try medium pressure, medium strokes, minimize deep tissue strokes.

2. Can also be applied to the feet just before bed to prepare for a calmer sleep.
3. Can be used as a body oil when skin is dry. Or add a few drops into the bath prior to soaking.
