Herb Pharm Chamomile Extract (Matricaria recutita) is from the fresh (undried) German Chamomile flowers which are Certified Organically Grown on Herb Pharms own farm without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. To assure Herb Pharm Chamomile Extract is at it's best the flowers are hand-harvested at their optimal potency and are then taken directly to our laboratory and promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent. Herb Pharm's Chamomile is never fumigated or irradiated. Single herb extracts are exactly what the name implies – a solitary herb, typically in a base of certified organic alcohol. All of Herb Pharm single herbal extracts are prepared according to precise Good Manufacturing Practices and with individualized formulations or processes, which enable each herb to be extracted according to its own unique physical and biochemical characteristics. This attention to detail produces a finished extract which optimally represents the herb from which it was made.
