Gestazyme tablets are specially constructed to release pepsin, papain, amylase and betaine hydrochloride in the digestive system where these factors are most active. The betaine hydrochloride provides hydrochloric acid supplementation to ordinary gastric secretions. Pancreatin (for protein, fats and starches) and ox bile extract (for fat digestion) support digestion in the small intestine.

For occasional use as a digestive aid, adults, take two (2) tablets with meals. Swallow whole. Do not crush or chew. Calcium and other minerals can affect the absorption of many medications. Do not take this product within 2 hours of taking medications. As a reminder, discuss the supplements and medications you take with your health care providers and follow their advice.
