Nutiva's unrefined cold-pressed, raw Canadian hemp oil is light green, with a delicious nutty flavor. Nutiva's hemp oil is lighter in flavor and has more GLA content compared to other hemp oils.

Nutiva offers hemp oil in three options:

• Certified Organic 8oz Hemp Oil
• Certified Organic 16oz Hemp Oil
• Certified Organic 24oz Hemp Oil

As we switched Nutiva's 12oz Hemp Oil to certified organic in January 05, stores may still be selling 12oz bottles that are grown without pesticides.

Using nitrogen, we press and bottle our oil in small batches. We add an induction foil seal covering the bottle opening, which prevents oxygen from seeping into the oil. Note other hemp firms cut corners and skip this step-and our customers regularly tell us Nutiva's hemp oil tastes fresher and lighter than other hemp brands. Try and compare yourself.

We warehouse our hemp oil, seed, and protein powder at below 40 degree's.

All of the above helps make Nutiva the freshest hemp oil on the market. It is best to keep hemp oil refrigerated and to use it within 8-12 weeks of opening.

Use 2 tablespoons daily in smoothies, salads, vegetables and pasta dishes.

Zesty Hemp Dressing
Shake equal parts of Hemp Oil, olive oil and vinegar with Nutiva Hempseed and other seasonings.

To conserve the EFAs, don't fry with hemp oil.



Storage: Keep in refrigerator. Use within 8-12 weeks of opening. Freezing extends shelf life.
