Juniper berries were used as a food and a medicine by the Indians of the American plains. Herbal use dates back to early Greek and Arabian physicians.
Oil of Juniper is given as a diuretic, stomachic, and carminative in indigestion, flatulence, and diseases of the kidney and bladder. The oil mixed with lard is also used in veterinary practice as an application to exposed wounds and prevents irritation from flies. In France the berries have been used in chest complaints and in leucorrhoea, blenorrhoea, scrofula, etc. They are nut given in substance.
Take 2 capsules three times daily with food or water. Increase the amount of fluids taken throughout the day. Not for use for more than 4 to 6 weeks in succession.
Do not use if pregnant or if you have a kidney condition.
