Our organic conditioning rinse is nourishing and effective without synthetic ingredients and is certified by the same National Organic Program that certifies organic food. The USDA organic logo is your guarantee of organic integrity.
Organic shikakao powder comes from the seed pods of the small South Asian tree Acacia Concinna, and is widely used in India for soft shiny hair. Organic lemon juice, used traditionally in the west, rinses and tightens hair shafts for excellent manageability. Organic coconut, olive and hemp fatty acids moisturize for luxuriant hair.
Organic Hair Care in Three Easy Steps
- Shampoo with your favorite Dr. Bronner's soap. True soaps clean hair well but can leave a tangly look & feel; however...
- Rinsing with our new Organic Shikakai Conditioning Rinse results in spectacular look & feel! Just stir 1-2 capfuls of this rinse into a cup of water, close eyes and slowly pour while massaging into hair. Keep hand combing hair until hair feels entirely sleek (~30 seconds). Rinse out well. Repeat if necessary in extra hard water conditions or with longer hair.
- After drying lightly with a towel, massage in Dr. Bronner's new USDA Organic Leave-In Conditioning Creme for added silkiness and softness.
Concentrated: Dilute! Dilute! Ok!
Keep rinse out of eyes and wash out with water. Consult a physician if irritation persists. The lemon juice may slightly sting abrasions of the scalp & skin but goes away with rinsing.
