Breathe Easier
Why a nasal wash?
The nasal passages contain one of our body's first lines of defense against disease. They are lined with a thin layer of mucus that traps and disposes of dirt, dust, pollen , and other airborne particles. But if the mucus becomes either to thick and dry or too thin and runny, it is easier for bacteria and viruses to get past this nasal lining and cause problems. And that's why gargling or sniffing a little saltwater at the first sign of a cold is a staple of folk medicine. A nasal wash takes this a step further because the saline solution carries some of these impurities out of the body. And compared to other nasal wash techniques, using the Neti Pot is much easier, simpler, and quicker to do.
