Our purchase of Fair Trade tea assures that farmers in developing countries receive a fair price for their crops, have safe working conditions and that the crops, have safe working conditions and that the crops are grown in harmony with nature without the use of harmful chemicals. Organic Golden Green is Fair Trade Certified by Trans Fair USA. This certified organic and fair trade green tea leaf is grown in the ancient tea-producing region of Wuyuan in the Southern Chinese Province of Jiangxi. The premium that we pay for this tea provides additional income for the tea growers of Wuyuan, providing lasting benefits for their families and community. How does it taste? It has a mildly tannic taste mellowed by lemony notes.
Directions: Brew Well to be Well
For maximum benefit, medicinal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 10-15 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract. Drink 3 or more cups a day for maximum benefit.
For an extra strength brew, use two teabags or brew up a whole pot using four or five teabags.
