Nettle plants grow in the wild throughout much of Europe and North America and are now also grown on farms. Fresh pressed juice of the herb, and tinctures or tea infusions of the dried leaves are commonly used in Europe. Organic Nettle Leaf has a pleasantly refreshing and slightly bitter taste.

Traditional Medicinals use pharmacopoeial grade herbs in this tea. That means that the herbs meet the highest standards set for quality, purity, strength, identity and composition. While it is accepted to use food-grade herbs in herbal tea products, they chose instead to use the higher phamarcopoeial grade fro its enhanced quality.
What is a Pharmocopoeia?
Many countries in the world, including the United States, have Pharmacopoeia. A country's pharmacopeia is an official guide of quality standards for ingredients used in dietary supplements, as well as over the counter and prescription medications.
For maximum benefit, herbal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over 1-2 tea bags in a cup. Cover up and steep 10 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extract. Drink 3-4 cups daily.
