Ancient Rainforest Treasure
The Pau d' Arco tree that grows in many parts of South America was treasured by the ancient Guarani healers for its inner bark. This tribe from the rainforest of Paraguay discovered it strengthened the body's natural defenses when made into a tea.
With over 100 species available. Wisdom of the Ancients chooses Pau d' Arco from Paraguay because laboratory tests show it to be four times more potent than species found in Brazil. Carefully harvested by hand and cured for 24 months, we bring the health promoting properties to the modern world.
Bring water to a simmer. Do not boil. Use one tea bag per 8 oz. of water.
Ancient Guarani Formula.
Add 12 - 14 tea bags to two quarts water ( demineralized water is preferred ), heat slowly and then simmer for 10 minutes. Do Not Boil and Do Not Use Metal Pot. Remove tea bags from heat and add equal amount of Yerba Mate Royale® herbal tea. Steep 5 minutes. Serve Hot or cold. Refrigerate unused portion.
