A. Yes. When using the Posture Pump cervical spine trainer you can put a cold gel pack over one of the air cells, usually the cheapest pouch, is recommended to speed recovery from stiffness and discomfort. Chronic stiffness and discomfort usually takes 30-60 days or maybe more to adequately subside. Make sure you cover the gel pack with cloth; never place gel pack directly against skin! Consult your doctor ahead of beginning any exercise regime.
Q. Can i stretch or perform a warm-up before you begin the Posture Pump?
A. Yes, please be certain to read and do as instructed in your specific Posture Pump model, including the warm-up and follow all cautions on instruction sheet.
Q. I'm interested in the Posture Pump Cervical Spine Trainer (Model 1000) but I dont like any pressure against my chin or jaw and my better half can't stand too much pressure against his forehead, is the head restraint adjustable?
A. Yes! The initial Dual-Pull restraint could be adjusted for too much forehead pressure by sliding the chin strap more snugly onto the chin and sliding the forehead strap more toward the hairline. Reverse this course of action for additional forehead pressure and less chin pressure. For those who have TMJ (jaw) weakness or cannot will have pressure in your chin, simply relocate the complete strap/restraint in to the forward open slots about the frame and unsnap the chin restraint from each side (leaving merely the forehead section). This will eliminate jaw and chin pressure.
Q. The top restraint/strap on my Posture Pump Cervical Spine Trainer (Model 1000) has gotten dirty. How do you fix it?
A. Simply wipe it down with a wet/damp cloth. When it is really dirty you might take away the strap and soak it within the sink with some soap and lay it out to dry every day and night. Be certain to replace the restraint/strap back into the appropriate slots about the frame when ready to use.
