For the past 15 years I've suffered from a severe form of chronic headache known as a "cluster headache". If you've ever had a cluster headache, you know just how horrible the pain can be. Early on, my attacks came only once or twice a year, but as time went on they started hitting me several times a week . Within a few years, things got so bad I could barely function. I had been to all the doctors, and had all the tests, but nothing really worked. At one point I was on three different medications including nasal steroids. The medications provided minimal relief, but nothing seemed to prevent or control my attacks, and the steroids gave me nosebleeds. The one thing I knew was that my headaches were somehow connected to the chronic sinus congestion that had affected one side of my head for years.
My doctor knew it had something to do with allergy triggers such as (pollen; stale air; humidity; alcohol, and dry winter heat), but nobody in the medical community could explain the "how and why". The one thing that did help relieve my pain and congestion was salt water nasal douching, but it was uncomfortable, and unreliable. The major downfall was I literally had to snort a cup's worth for at least 15 minutes to get any benefit at all. I read everything I could concerning cluster headaches, migraines, and chronic sinus congestion. Through my research, I found that some people had experienced relief by placing a Q-tip soaked with jalapeno pepper juice up their noses. They claimed it got rid of their headaches and eased the congestion, but the burning sensation was absolutely horrible.

The one thing that did help relieve my pain and congestion was salt water nasal douching, but it was uncomfortable, and unreliable. The major downfall was I literally had to snort a cup's worth for at least 15 minutes to get any benefit at all. Through my research, I found that some people had experienced relief by placing a Q-tip soaked with jalapeno pepper juice up their noses. They claimed it got rid of their headaches and eased the congestion, but the burning sensation was absolutely horrible.
Then I remembered a time when oneed to pepper spray. It was years ago when I was a self defense instructor teaching civilians and police how to use self defense pepper spray.
I was well known for my self defense workshops, and had even been on many television shows such as Oprah, advocating the use of pepper sprays for personal safety. During that time I agreed to be sprayed by the "real thing" for a news report in Albany, New York. Just before the news crew was ready to start taping, I began to have one of my cluster headaches. It was coming on fast and furious -- one sided nasal congestion followed by excrutiating pain behind my eye and temple. I nearly collapsed, but the show had to go on. So as my head pounded with excruciating pain, I allowed the news reporter to spray me with the pepper spray. The pain was horrible, and a bunch of it went up my nose. As I coughed and choked on the fumes, I realized my headache was gone.
Just like that --- my sinus was wide open, and my headache disappeared. After about 20 minutes of flushing my face with cool water to relieve the pepper effects, it dawned on me that my migraine was completely gone, and it wasn't coming back. My sinus was wide open, and I could breath like never before. I knew the pepper had cured my headache, but I also knew this wasn't the way to go about it
Since these were the days when my clusters only came a few times a year, I dismissed the pepper cure, and continued to deal with the problem as it came. Several years later, my sinus congestion and headaches had become much more frequent. Frankly, they were ruining my life. So when I found that many people had reported success at fighting migraines and cluster headaches with pepper, I took those reports seriously, but I also knew sticking pure pepper up your nose was the wrong way to go about it. I knew the pepper had to be delivered in a way that wouldn't cause too much discomfort or burning. The key was the pepper extract, but it had to be formulated in a way the average person could tolerate. So I started to experiment with "oleoresin capsicum", a pure pepper plant resin. The active natural chemical in Oleoresin Capsicum is (Capsaicin), the chemical that puts the "hot" in hot peppers.
After more than a year of research, I came up with an all natural formula that could deliver the necessary bite of the capsaicin without any lingering effects, and the SINUS BUSTER was born.
For Adults 12 & over ONLY! *For Headaches as needed before attacks occur, and during full blown attacks (1-3 sprays) per nostril until headache symptoms reduce. * For Sinus Congestion as needed (1-3 sprays) morning, noon and night. *For Sinus Infections use at least (4X) daily (1-3 sprays) per use. *For Allergies use as needed to combat and prevent related symptoms. It's important (expecially with headache and sinus infections) to tilt your head toward the area where you feel the greatest concentration of pressure and pain.
For nasal use only. Upon initial use, you will experience a powerful sensation which lasts a few seconds. This sensation is inherent to the process that allows the capsaicin to work. Temporary discomfort such as burning, stinging, sneezing, or an increase in nasal discharge may result.
