What will Organic Roasted Dandelion Root do for me? Dandelion root tea has shown "choleretic" effects, which means that it can stimulate the liver to increase bile flow. Once bile is released by the liver, its two main functions are to carry away waste and to break down fats during digestion. How do I know it works? Dandelion's beneficial effects on liver and biliary tract function have been proven in pharmacological studies. When should I use it? Drink one cup prepared with one to two tea bags, three times daily for up to 4-6 weeks. How does it taste? A pleasant roasted taste, sweet and slightly bitter.
Every tea bag in this box has been individually wrapped and sealed for freshness, ensuring that the beneficial components of the herbs remain intact.
Brew Well to be Well
For maximum benefit, herbal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over one or two tea bags in a cup. Cover cup and steep 15 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extract. Unless otherwise prescribed drink three freshly prepared cups daily.
For an extra strength brew, use two teabags.
Duration of use: Dandelion teas should be used for periods of up to 4-6 weeks, followed by a break before resuming.
