The Ultra Slim Herbal Tea Tradition
The herbs in this blend were used traditionally in China to help promote cleansing and digestion. Senna and malva verticillata are herbal stimulant laxatives that were used to promote bowel movements and cleansing. Persimmon and papaya were used to support healthy stomach function and digestion. Tangerine peel was used to help ease feelings of fullness and bloating, and we said to move stagnant "chi". Loquat leaf was said to cool and harmonize the stomach. Remember when dieting to follow a balanced weight loss diet and the advice of your health care professional. Be sure to eat plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, juices and pure water. For additional support in cleansing, use this tea along with Triple Leaf Detox tea.
Triple Leaf Tea's Ancient Chinese Medicinals
Traditional Chinese medicine began in approximately 2500 BC. Recently, here in the West, people have discovered the value of this ancient system which focuses on aiding the body's own healing mechanisms through restoring harmony and balance. The Chinese system of herbology has been recorded in ancient texts which are studied and employed even today. This time tested knowledge has been passed on from generation to generation over the centuries.
Triple Leaf Tea comes from such a tradition. It is made in the U.S.A by a Chinese American family-owned business. The company owner can remember stories of his own grandfather selling herbs and teas in his village in China. Today, these traditional Chinese herbal formulas are available to you. We wish you harmony and balance!
SUGGESTED USE: 1 cup after dinner, not to exceed 2 cups in 24 hours. When first using this tea, make it weak by brewing it briefly. Or, brew 1 tea bag in 2 cups of water for 2 minutes, remove the tea bag and drink 1 cup hot or cold. Refrigerate the second cup to drink the next day. After several days, you may gradually increase the strength to suit your individual taste. Do not drink for more than 7 consecutive days unless directed by your doctor.
BREWING DIRECTIONS:
Pour 1-2 cups of boiling water over 1 tea bag. Let steep 2-5 minutes. Remove the tea bag, squeeze gently into the cup. A tea bag can be re-used to extract more herbal benefits. For a delicious change, try it with lemon and honey, or your favorite sweetener.
This tea is not recommended for children, elderly or sick people, or pregnant women or nursing mothers.
NOTICE: This product contains senna leaf and stem. Read and follow directions carefully. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain because senna leaf and stem may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health. Consult your physician if you have frequent diarrhea or if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.
