Wally\'s Lavender Beeswax Ear Candles are hand-crafted from 100% all-natural beeswax and pure lavender oil that is embedded into every candle. The essential oil of lavender is combined with the beeswax to create a sweet honey scent which has been used in households for hundreds of years.
The beeswax mixed with Wally\'s Natural own special blend of essential oils make their Lavender Beeswax Ear Candles the best choice for your all-natural ear candling experience. A traditional practice used for more than 2000 years, ear candling (also called ear coning) consists of placing the tapered end of a hollow cylinder coated with wax into the opening of the ear canal and lighting the opposite end on fire. Smoke and warmth will then freely enter the ear canal and begin softening hardened and impacted earwax.

About Ear Candling
Modern ear candling uses disposable hollow candles made from strips of unbleached cotton or linen dipped in paraffin or beeswax. Some candles are made with herbs or essential oils mixed into the wax, similar to the way ancients peoples placed medicinal plants and herbs in their ear candles for the beneficial effects of the smoke.
Though many ear candlers believe the candle actually draws out ear wax with the suction of fire, this is not true. The smoke and warmth help soften and break-up your hardened ear wax allowing your body to excrete it naturally.
Any wax deposits you may find inside the candle consist entirely of beeswax or paraffin wax used in production of the ear candle. It is not ear wax

Helpful Hints:
It may take several days to experience the complete effect of one candling session, as the wax falls out of the ear bit by bit. Avoid immersing the ears in water during this period. A toothpick may be used to clean a clogged candle tip. Contrary to some popular beliefs, ear candles do not use suction or vacuum to aid in the excretion of earwax.
Do not use this product by yourself! do not use if you have ear tubes, an ear drum perforation, infections, disease, inflammation, or recent ear surgery. Sit upright and always use the candle angle (pictured on the back of the box) at all times. Do not lay on your side. Never burn less than 4" in length. The candle should not be foreced into the ear canal or inserted beyond 1/8". Cover the entire head, neck and shoulders with a damp towel, exposing only the ear to be candled. Use scissors to trim off each 1" segment of brunt ash into a nearby bowl of water. Be careful as the ashes may be hot. The candle should be removed fromt eh ear during each trim and rotated 180 degrees to maintain even burning of the candle. Beware of air drafts from wind, heaters and air conditioners while paying close attention to the direction of flame. The flame tip should be directed away from the person being candled. Maintain a low burning flame and use common sense when working with fire. One time use only. Do not reuse. Not recommended for children under the age of twelve years old. Do not expose to temperatures below 32 degerees (F) or above 90 degrees (F).
